Run For Cover Records signs Pity Sex

Run for Cover Records has signed Pity Sex to their label. Hailing from Ann Arbor, MI, Pity Sex specialize in foggy, lo-fi noise pop and fuzzed-out, blown-speaker walls of sound, all with their own Midwestern emo subtleties.
Situated somewhere at the convergence of Dinosaur Jr., Sonic Youth and Hum, the bands quietest moments are defeated reflections with plaintive instrumentals. Its loudest are desperate cries washed in searing, reverb-y overdrive.
Their newest EP, Dark World, is available for free download at http://pitysex.bandcamp.com and will available on vinyl in the coming weeks via Forward Records – http://forwardrecordsus.com. The band has also begun writing their debut full-length for Run For Cover.
