Icelandic dream-pop septet Seabear will be heading to the US in the fall in support of their sophomore release, We Built A Fire (Morr Music). The band has been touring throughout Europe and will return to the states after their first ever North American tour this past spring. The band will make a stop in NYC at the Highline Ballroom on October 16th. Purchase tickets here.

The spring tour included shows at SXSW, one of which was filmed in its entirety for Baeble. The band was also filmed performing live in Reykjavik for the Inspired by Iceland campaign, which worked to gain support for Iceland in light of the recent volcanic eruption. This spring, their track “Cold Summer” was featured on Grey’s Anatomy.

Seabear has also recently launched a Coverversion contest, in which the band will handpick the best covers to Seabear songs submitted via the contest’s YouTube page. The winner will receive a +1 guestlist spot, will meet the band and will perform their cover live directly before the Seabear show at one of the US dates.
