Sorry Folks, No Image Is Here.

Street Dogs will be releasing their 6th full-length Stand for Something or Die for Nothing on June 22nd via Century Media Records. You’d think the band would have more albums by now but you have to remember Mike McColgan also works as a 911 dispatcher for the Boston Fire Dept. Besides releasing the new album, Street Dogs be doing a run of East Coast and West Coast dates this Summer. They will be playing Brooklyn, NY on June 16th at Brooklyn Bazaar. More dates are below.

Based on what frontman Mike says about the new album, this sounds like the politically charged punk album we need right about now:

“The dumbing down of America is a reason to write songs in 2018,” vows McColgan. “The theme is wake the f*ck up and the working class needs to unite across all colors, creeds, nationalities, genders and realize that we are being pitted against each other by snake oil salesmen and autocrats.”

Stand for Something or Die for Nothing is a punk rock album for the new era. “Punk, to me, is people living how they want to not how they are told to,” insists McColgan. From freedom of speech (“Stand for Something or Die for Nothing”) to living The American Dream (“Working Class Heroes”) to getting back on track (“The Comeback Zone”) – Stand for Something or Die for Nothing raises political awareness and injects optimism into those who have doubts about their future and the current administration.
