The Alternate Routes are working on a follow-up to the excellent album Lately. The band played a free show last week at Bryant Park in NYC and will be back again at Joe’s Pub on August 9th. They will also be playing in Virginia, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. Watch a video of the band previewing some new songs below:

The Alternate Routes have been writing and touring here and there, in preparation for a very busy fall season. We are excited to announce 4 shows in the Northeast, where we will be be road testing many songs for the upcoming album.

Its the middle of the summer, and I’m telling everyone about these shows and i hope you’ll do the same. There is even an afterparty at the Jammin Java Show, which is a first.
