You’ve probably heard The Apples in stereo and didn’t even know it. New Radio’ (read: television) has been featuring many of their songs in recent national commercials from Samsung, Dodge, Saturn and others, Their sunny space pop and prime role in the Elephant 6 Collective has been a prime influence on the indie landscape for the last twelve years.

With a tour that begins with a performance at Pitchfork Festival (and also hits Tulsa’s D-Fest) then leads to their second appearance on The Colbert Report on August 4th and a new rarities and b-sides album “Electronic Projects For Musicians” out now on Elijah Woods’ recently minted Simian Records, and lead Apple Robert Schneider’s cameo in Mike Myers’ “Love Guru,” The Apples in stereo are worth checking out!!
