The Maine will be co-headlining “The AP Tour presented by Rockstar Energy Drink,” which kicks off on March 20, 2009 and ends May 9, 2009. They’re the latest band in the line-up to be announced, joining the line-up featuring Family Force 5, Hit The Lights, and A Rocket To The Moon.
The Maine will bring their catchy hooks and high energy to the third annual AP Tour, put on by Alternative Press magazine. The tour, sponsored this year by Rockstar Energy Drink, Rockaholic TIGI hair products, Hurley, and Glamour Kills clothing, has included previous acts such as The Rocket Summer, All Time Low, Circa Survive, and Cute is What We Aim For.
Pre-sale tickets will be available for purchase from January 12 – January 16, and will be on sale to the general public starting January 17. AP is also offering a complimentary one year subscription to the magazine for you or a friend with the purchase of a ticket, so be sure not to miss your chance to hear some great tunes and enjoy a year’s worth of exciting music news.
The pop-rock quintet, has spent the last half of this year showcasing songs from their debut full-length album, Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop, and they toured overseas and nationwide with the likes of All Time Low, Boys Like Girls, Metro Station and The Academy Is… Currently their new music video for “Girls Do What They Want” is in rotation on MTV, MTV2, MTV HITS, and mtvU. Several songs can also be heard on MTV’s The Hills.
