Sorry Folks, No Image Is Here.

How I Met Your Mother Season 4 is coming out on DVD & Blu-Ray on September 24th. I haven’t seen 1 episode yet but I hear good things. Actually, my brother Matt won’t shut the hell up about it. It looks like a funny show with a likable cast so I’ll give it a shot one of these days. Check out the press release of the DVD & Blu-Ray below:

“It’s going to be LEGENDARY!” (#11 on the Paley Center’s “50 Funniest Catchphrases”). Throw back a drink at MacLaren’s Pub with Ted, Barney and the gang, as “How I Met Your Mother” The Awesome Season Four arrives on Blu-ray Disc and DVD September 29 from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. The Emmy Award® winning series centers around architect Ted Mosby (Josh Radnor; Freaks and Geeks), a hopeless romantic determined to find love in New York City. This love story in reverse is narrated by an older and off-screen Ted (Bob Saget; “Full House”) who tells his children tales of his single days with his best friends, Marshall Eriksen (Jason Segel; Forgetting Sarah Marshall), Lilly Aldrin (Alyson Hannigan; “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” Date Movie), Robin Scherbatsky (Cobie Smulders; “The L Word”) and Barney Stinson (Golden Globe® and Emmy® nominee** Neil Patrick Harris; “Doogie Howser, M.D.,” Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle), all leading up to the still unanswered question of how he “met their mother.” In this fourth season, Ted loses his job and starts his own company, Barney celebrates his 200th female conquest and Robin moves to Japan, among other unpredictable and hilarious storylines. Guest stars include Ted’s former fiancé (Sarah Chalke; “Scrubs”), Barney’s Mother, (Frances Conroy; “Six Feet Under”), Ted’s college ex-girlfriend (Laura Prepon; “That 70’s Show”) and Regis Philbin, as himself.

The “How I Met Your Mother” Season Four three disc set includes all 24 episodes, plus hilarious special features, commentaries and gag reels. The Blu-ray Disc will be available for the suggested retail price of $49.99 U.S. / $69.99 Canada and the DVD will be available for the suggested retail price of $39.98 U.S. / $54.98 Canada. Prebook is September 2.

Series Synopsis:
The woman of his dreams is out there – the question is, who is she? Told in a series of flashbacks, “How I Met Your Mother” is the hilariously unpredictable story of how twenty-something Ted meets his soul mate and says goodbye to the singles’ world of pick-up lines, one night stands and relationship “deal-breakers.” Things have a funny way of working out in this delightfully fresh and fast-paced comedy.
