The 101 are assholes. You know they just named themselves The 101 so they’d always be listed first. That’s fucking cheating, and they don’t need to cheat because their music can already get them far. They have a very catchy and melodic indie-pop sound that’s well-crafted, pleasant, and harmless. Their slower stuff is warm n’ fuzzy, their faster stuff is snappy and Jimmy Eat World-ish. If I didn’t compare everything to Ronnie James Dio, I’d probably think these guys are good.

Bottom Line: Toothless, decent indie pop.
