Legendary hardcore band breaks out with a great album. I like this one better than some of their previous albums but nothing beats the old sound of them. Their 95 release wasn’t so good but I feel they brought up their energy and went back to the fast old sound of hardcore. “Sour Grapes” is what I was talking about bringing back that old hardcore sound. The song is about how the older people in the scene are upset with the kids that are just getting into now. Which is true, a lot of older people get pissed that a 14 old kid has a Minor Threat or Gorilla Biscuits shirt on. Got to start somewhere. Other tracks that stood out were “One Big Guessing Game,” “Safety Net,” and “True Roots Show.” Overall, I really like this record and I definitely recommend it for any 7 Seconds fans.
