Aletheian is a Christian metal from Lebanon, PA. I don’t think Jesus would have liked this band. It’s been awhile since I listened to a straight up black metal type band. It’s not really my thing but I’ll do my best to talk about the album.
The band’s album “Dying Vine” is being re-released on Metal Blade; it originally came out Hope Prevails Production. The album was originally released in 2005, so not sure why they decided to re-release it? Why not just record something new? This album is very technical, and very metal. The roaring and hissing isn’t really the type of singing I like, but that’s how they do it for this type of record. The band sounds amazing. The music just gives me migraines though. It’s been a long day at work…
Bottom Line: Black Metal gives me a headache
