This is Angel & Airwaves second album, and it’s only few a years since Blink 182 announced their hiatus. The first thing I notice with this album isn’t the music but the album artwork. It’s a spoof on the Star Wars posters. With an album cover like that, I’m just not sure I can take this band seriously. I heard the name Angels & Airwaves before since the whiny guy from Blink 182 is in the band, but I never listened to the music. I liked Blink 182’s older stuff but when they started to get mega-popular, I started to dislike the band & their members. I’m not sure if Tom has matured since then, judging from the album cover I’m assuming not entirely. But musically, it doesn’t sound like he wrote any poop or fart jokes. Angels & Airwaves actually isn’t bad and somewhat decent, in a mainstream music sort of way. This wouldn’t be something I’d want to buy though but that’s just me.
Bottom Line: This actually isn’t bad.
Notable Tracks: Everything’s Magic, sirens
