Aqueduct is a one-man band that mixes 80s pop hooks with the irritating hipsterness of Flaming Lips and the trendy bleepy electronica of Postal Service. Sometimes the pop hooks are cute and enjoyable, but he also has a way of channeling the lameness of Billy Joel. All in all, this sucks pretty hard. I mean, it has a pleasant sound, but unfortunately the songwriting isn’t strong enough to mask the self-indulgence and trendiness.

Bottom Line: Billy Joel meets Flaming Lips.
