The reggae crooner is back with his first new release in over three years, and Beres hasn’t lost it. Stronger songs and more tunes to make whoopie to. Oh yeah, nothing is finer than getting it on while Beres Hammond’s love songs are on in the background. Hell, I did, I’m sure some of you out there have too. Beres Hammond just has one of those voices that drives women mad. Ya know the type, throw-your-panties-at-the-stage-kind. “Love Has No Boundaries,” is a powerful mix of R&B reggae and a dash of dancehall with some special guests like Buju Banton, and Big Youth. With thirty years in the business, Beres’ songs are fresh and still have meaning, like “Weary Soldier,” which deals with the current state of war throughout the world.
Bottom Line: No doubt that this record is awesome, which makes you feel all warm and cuddly when you listen to it
Notable Tracks: “Thanks Fe Mi Pride & Joy,” “Weary Soldier,” “Love Mood,” “If This Isn’t Love.”
