A collection spanning Switzer’s 25-year career as a drummer for a few early art-punk bands, including The Destroyed and Monster Island. As a drummer, I don’t find his work too exceptional, and the sound is demo-quality for most of this album. But if you’re interested in the output of The Destroyed, or rare ’77 punk in general, this collection contains about 15 Destroyed tunes from the late 70s, some of which are cool. The Destroyed had that gritty Dead Boys / The Sillies sound with vocals reminiscent of Richard Hell. Since it’s probably hard to find this stuff elsewhere, I’d recommend this album for that stuff.
