This is a cool metal album with heavy grooves and a meaty, drunken demeanor to it. It’s a little meathead-ish, but more fun than aggro. But I’m most impressed by just how unpolished and raw it is – the sound quality isn’t the best (the guitars sometimes wash out the vocals), but it’s great to hear a metal band that isn’t going for some incredibly overproduced mainstream sound. These guys don’t wuss out, and it’s one of the coolest metal albums I’ve heard in awhile.

Bottom Line: No frills, no bullshit, and thank god no wussy singing.
Notable Tracks: Said and Done, Spare the Agony
