Kids, when forming a band, the most important part of the band is the lead singer. Sure, the guitar player is pretty important but if you really want to make it in the biz, then you need someone who can sing, carry a melody and craft catchy lines that listeners will remember for years to come. So what I’m trying to say her is…DON”T START A SCREAMO BAND!!!

If you want to play watered down metal music, then you should at least get someone with some vocal talent and not some idiot that likes to scream like a little girl. Sure, Burden Of A Day have some musical talent but when the vocals come in like someone scraping nails over a chalk board, I immediately want to skip to the next song. The thing is, every song sounds like this. There are some parts where A) the vocalist changes his voice up a bit or B) someone else sings a few lines but it doesn’t really matter either way because it still sounds wimp-fied. So I will reiterate once again to all those rock star hopefuls…please please please do not start a screamo band. We really don’t need anymore of this terrible music. This has been a public service announcement brought to you by Readjunk.

Bottom Line: Screamo makes me want to screamo as I throw myself off of a cliff.
Notable Tracks: They all sucked.
