Dancehall artist Busy Signal new record “D.O.B.” is out now, and features not your everyday dancehall. Under the tutelage of dancehall legend, Bounty Killer, Busy Signal delivers a record that is unique and brings something new to Dancehall.

“D.O.B” has 15 new tracks and Busy Signal is back at it with what he hopes creates a new bridge to Dancehall’s creativity. A variety of styles makes up the genesis of this record as it can go from straight up reggae-dub, like the Phil Collin’s 80’s hit “One More Night,” to a Latin flavored track in “Busy Latino,” as well as a Spanish feel in “Picante.” Busy Signal has been on the scene for years now and is looking to move forward and higher in the Dancehall community, in hopes it branches out further in being eclectic.

Bottom Line: Dancehall fans will enjoy it but this record wasn’t my cup of tea.
