Even though there’s something fratboyish about them, these guys offer up a nicely staggered mess of various styles into a controlled-chaos situation. There’s sleaze-rock guitars and attitude, post-punk jaggedness, and old school hardcore rhythms with chanted choruses, but there’s also a funky, zany rock and skater rock approach to it. I mean, “Uptown Vampire” is almost like Suicidal Tendencies meets Faith No More. Interesting and pretty rockin. But not still not quite sure if they’re a keeper.
Bottom Line: Raised my interest but not my dick.
Notable Tracks: Uptown Vampire (Hey, I like Faith No More!)
