Warm indie rock in that Northwest Americana vein – “campfire” isn’t in their name for nothing. In most songs, simple yet trance-inducing indie (with flecks of bluegrass and jazz) build into sing-along crescendos. You’ve heard it before, but it feels good so you might not mind.
With strong use of piano, horns, and shuffling percussion, they’re like the jazzier cousins of those indie darlings, the pastoral-meets-Handel Fleet Foxes.
Bottom Line: Seattle indie with a little jazz, Baroque, and jug band jamboree.
Notable Tracks: Not Young Not Old, Brass, Bleach Blonde
