Untraceable didn’t last long in theaters; To be honest, I don’t even remember it being released. The movie is a thriller starring Diane Lane, and it’s about Internet schadenfreude. It’s about a killer that has a website where people stupidly go to see all this happening on streaming videos. The killer tortures and murders each victim in his basement and Diane Lane’s character tries to get to the bottom of it. Sounds like an interesting promise, but not sure I’ll watch it though.

The score is done by Christopher Young, who’s familiar with thrillers & horror flicks. He has composed such horror flicks like A Nightmare in Elm Street 2, Hellraiser, Tales from the Hood, Freddy’s Revenge, The Grudge, and a bunch of others. So Young knows how to set the mood for horror movies. I’ve never really been a fan of horror scores too much because I don’t really want to get freaked out when I’m listening to them. No, only joking. I’m not that big of a wuss. I actually thought the score was really good, and definitely contains a lot of creepy motifs. If you’re a fan of Young and horror movies, be sure to check out this score as well.

Bottom Line: A thriller film score that’s good in spots
Notable Tracks: Untraceable, Kill With Me
