Communique is comprised of Rory Henderson, John Peck, Ryan Massey and Jamie Kissinger and Steve Loewinsohn. Most of them were in the band American Steel and around 2003, Communique was formed. Now the group has a new EP out now and people that like indie keyboard-driven rock will dig this EP.

Surprisingly, this album isn’t that bad. The songs are catchy, and the singer has a decent enough voice. The keyboards help the songs out and add some depth to them. The first 3 tracks are fun but then track number 4 “What’s Been Lost” comes on, and that turns out to be a weak song. The singer is trying to sing soft & slow and it doesn’t sound that great. Thankfully the band makes up for that with the last song “Got Your Number.” If you are curious to hear how this band sounds, check out their Myspace page here: www.myspace.com/communique

Bottom Line: Most of the songs are catchy except one or two tracks.
Notable Tracks: Sad Valentine, Somebody Poisoned The Well
