Male-female duo that plays short bursts of electronic drums and repetitive yelling with some fuzzy noise elements and not much else. Although the predominant drum sound is cheesily reminiscent of en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hit_Stix Hit Stix, the band is unsuccessful in large part because of the bad, pretentious vocals. The corny, noisy minimalism doesn’t help, but could actually be good if the structures weren’t so repetitive and mindless.

I like what the band is doing, and I’ve always been a fan of Hit Stix, but they need to focus more on making interesting noise than trying to sound hipsterish.
