This is frightening. It’s classic rock with soulful female vocals that sounds mostly like what would be playing in a bar in a really shitty Mickey Rourke straight-to-video movie. The sound, which blends shitty songwriting with lots of wah pedal-ridden guitars, is pretty terrible in almost every way. Robinson can sing, but then so can many American Idol contestants. At best, this sounds like Heart. At best, Heart is okay for drunken Guitar Hero. At best, I still can’t beat Expert on Guitar Hero. And this CD is mostly awful.

Bottom Line: Soul-Rock sounds like it features rejected songs from Hair.
