Dylan Connor is a former Latin teacher who decided to release an indie, pop album filled with delightful melodies and something you might hear in an indie comedy film. I was skeptical with this album but it ended up being a good listen. But would I listen to this again, that’s the question?
Dylan Connor reminds me of rock artists like Ben Folds Five, Nada Surf, The Lemonheads; you know that 90’s alternative rock stuff. I didn’t turn the album off when listening to it so I guess that’s a good sign. Dylan is still an unsigned musician but I don’t think he will be for long. He plays safe music, and I’m sure one record label will want to sign him just because of that.
Bottom Line: This is a good album, just not for me
Notable Tracks: Blood Like Fire, I Want Everybody to Know
