Family Force 5 have been on the Warped Tour for a few years now but I never bothered to check them out. Apparently they are quite popular. I’m sure the teens dig this band but I don’t at all. Thankfully I didn’t bothered seeing them on the Warped Tour because this music is pretty lame. Christian, crunk, emo, hip hop rock that makes me wants to convert to Satanism as soon as possible. Just so many crappy trendy styles combined into one.

Family Force 5’s album Dance or Die is their second release on Tooth & Nail. The opening song Dance or Die sounds like a boy band song you’d hear on the lame pop radio stations. I’m sure they have these adorable dance numbers for all their songs. Blech. Honestly, the songs have catchy beats but if I had to hear these songs more than once, I’d start to get sick of them. Family Force 5 remind me of the Backstreet Boys and 98 Degrees trying to create different style of music and it just sounds cheesy. If you like this band, I’m sure you’re going to love this album. I didn’t.

Bottom Line: Radio friendly dance crap that makes me want to put a bullet through my skull
