Wow Wow Wow!!! I don’t care if this Cd is old because it’s too good. This is quite a unique sound. Last Warped Tour I was walking around and I saw this Irish guy singing and everyone going nuts for this band. I thought they sounded great but didn’t know the name of them. Then I saw them on Conan O Brien and I knew the name and got the CD. I’ve recently gotten into my roots and started to listen to Irish folk and Celtic music like the Chieftains and bagpipe music, and this band is awesome! The first track “Salty Dog,” is a good example of what this band is capable of. I feel like doing a jig around the room when listening to this. They definitely have a sound that no one else has because they combine punk, folk, rock, and other junk. Har Har. I guess they are similar to Dropkick Murphys but I think DKM have more an Irish punk Oi! Sound. Great songs on this Cd that you should listen to are: “Selfish Man,” “The Worst Day Since Yesterday,” “Black Friday Rule.” The best song on this Cd is far “Devil’s Dance Floor.” Which I think is the song they played on Conan O Brien. If you’re Irish and Proud, this CD shouldn’t be ignored.
