I’m not sure what to think of this music, especially when the opening cues of the song “Ants” sounds like something from old school Nintendo. I wish this was the music from Super Mario Brothers but it’s not, it’s just Forgive Durden; who are just some wimpy & whiny emo band.

This is the band’s debut album and it’s kind of all over the place. One minute they do this techno pop stuff, then they sound like they are going for this reggae sound, but it’s just whiny emo when you think about it. “Parable of the Sower” is probably the only tolerable songs on the album, because the singer doesn’t sound AS whiny. Plus there’s a banjo in the song, but then towards the end of the track, it gets messy and cluttered…just like the whole album. I just wish this genre of music would die already, along with all their fans.

Bottom Line: Use this to torture your victims.
