Asbury Park’s own, brings their 3rd and most likely their last album. I heard they broke up a year ago so it was a surprise to see a new album coming out. One rumor of their break up was that the drummer developed carpal tunnel syndrome. Fury of Five was known for being a tough band and this album proves it. They speak with the truth and sometimes with their fists. Clubs were afraid to book them because of the band “putting the bouncers in the hospital,” and other such violent acts but I’ll keep my mouth shut from this point because I don’t want them to kick my ass as well. Truth is, I really like this band. The tough guy image and mean, straight up hardcoremetal. This album is very good. The lyrics show they are pissed about what they have been through, like talking shit, beat downs, and other things. My favorite songs are “Never,” “This Time It’s Personal,” and “Hold My Own.” If you like the tough guy metalhardcore, then definately check this out, or They will kick your ass.
