Legendary Garnet Silk is honored with an Anthology which features most of his best work, “Music is The Rod” shows why Garnet Was a legend, and a tragic story that ended a life too short. Released around the 10th anniversary of his death, Garnet Silk was known as the one to help the roots revival in the early nineties when dancehall was emerging as the forefront of island music. Silk was going to the be the next “Bob Marley” until his untimely death trying to save his mother from her burning house. Silk will be remembered forever as an excellent musician and singer, with hits like “Complain,” “Hello Africa,” “Belly Full,” “Jah Jah is The Ruler.”
