I try not to review bands that end in “–inger”, especially EPs. But two things struck me: one, the cover looks just like this Sisters of Mercy bootleg I have (Andrew Eldritch’s silhouette against a red-lighted, smoky stage background); and two, they mailed this from Finland, a magical land of darkness and scary gods.
So I put it on, and it’s about what I expected – hard-edged rock with industrial-electro drums. It’s actually not bad. The lead singer sounds a little like James Hetfield without the “-NYA!” after every line. And the music is like early Ministry. Can’t go wrong there.
Four tracks, all decent.
Bottom Line: Good music for grinding against hot goth girls.
Notable Tracks: Mean Street (cool-sounding drums during the chorus)
