Just like Garth Brooks has an alter go, so does Paul Westerberg. This is a mix of rock n roll country mixed in with some blues. I feel like driving through the desert and going to eat at some rundown local dinner when hearing this music. That’s not a bad thing, it’s just saying that’s how I feel. I can’t believe how many CDs I’m liking this review time because usually I hate everything. I guess my horizon is expanding even more than it was. The production of the album is raw which gives it that old feeling to it and it works well with the songs. The songs are a mix between BB King and Chuck Barry. I can just picture Michael J Fox blasting “Cleaning House” in Back to the Future 4 haha.

Bottom Line: Bluesy country rock from Paul Westerberg that’s actually really good!
Notable Tracks: “MPLS” “Take Out Some Insurance” “Cleaning House” “Bad Boy Blues”
