H2O is the latest band to release a CBGBs live album. CBGB OMFUG Masters: Live 8/19/02, The Bowery Collection was recorded just like the date says on the album title, August 19th 2002. This was recorded right from the soundboard so don’t expect some polished live album like you might usually hear. This is a raw recording that sounds more like a bootleg than anything. But what do you expect when you have a recording from the world’s most famous dive bar.

H2O play a lot of the great & classics tracks like “Everready,” “Guilty by Association,” and “Here Today, Gone Tomorrow.” I don’t know what happen with this CD, but the tracks are all over the place for me. I thought I heard “Everready” 4 times skipping around this CD. Not sure if all the copies are like this or not. But with that said, you still get your money’s worth to listen to a H2O live album from CBGBs.

Bottom Line: Must-have for H2O fans.
