From the award winning composer, Hans Zimmer (Gladiator, Lion King, The Last Samurai) comes King Arthur. The story of Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table as they prepare for one last mission so they can return home to live in peace. They must battle the “Woads” and their guerilla armies and face off so that they can change history. Though, I haven’t seen the movie, I loved this score. Hans Zimmer is one of my favorite composers, ever since Gladiator. From there I have grown to appreciate his other work like The Last Samurai, Tears of the Sun, and The Peacemaker. King Arthur is similiar to Tears of the Sun and you can hear a bit of his uncredited work in Pirates of the Caribbean. Although, Klaus Badelt worked mostly on that film, Zimmer took on the project at first. Zimmer thrives in an action environment and this is where his music is best heard. Fast paced and quite enjoyable, King Arthur is one of the best scores of the summer.

Bottom Line: Zimmer fans will absolutely love this album, other film score protagnosists will find fault with thi
