Subpar metalcore with repetitive and chunky, stop-and-go riffing. There are occasional glimpses of melodic (and more interesting) guitar work, such as on Miss October and Martyr of Truth, but 95%
of the album’s songwriting appears to be synchronized DUN-DUN-DUN (pause) DUN-DUN-DUN guitar and rhythm action. Their overall sound is nice n’ brutal, but 45 minutes of such limited range becomes very dull very quickly.
Bottom Line: Standard definition of the limited range of metalcore.
