Aged (and aging) brash hair metal mixed with hard-edged grunge. Kind of like when Motley Crue tried making their first comeback with that other singer back in the 90s.
Some decent guitarwork and soloing, and he sometimes talks through his guitar like Peter Frampton (always a good thing), but the Ted Nugent/David Lee Roth frontmanship and Alice in Chains-like dark grunginess is dated and tiresome.
Bottom Line: The poor man’s Velvet Revolver, who are the poor man’s everything else.
