It seems like John Williams comes out with only one Cd a year, last year was the Patriot and I loved that one. This one I’m kind of disappointed with. It’s too soft and slow in most songs, but so was the movie so I guess his job was completed. He even explores into some technoish electronic sounds in his songs, like “The Moon Rising” and it doesn’t sound like the typical John Williams, more like Hans Zimmer’s style. The score has it’s moments though, and has a few songs that are more notable than the other. For example, “Abandoned In The Woods,” is a nice slow piece, and I really like the song “The Moon Rising.” I feel that song is the best on the album. I remember parts from that song from it’s trailer. This album isn’t the greatest but it’s not the worst. I say, buy other Williams’ scores like Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Superman, Hook, and of course Indiana Jones instead.
