To the tell you the truth I don’t know who this guy is, but after reading the press release with the album, he was lead guitarist for the legendary New York Dolls, also featuring Mr. Buster Pointdexter. From there Johnny Thunders went on to form The Heartbreakers, whether or not this is the same band that had Tom Petty joining later in the 80’s is unknown. He went on as a solo act, with fans all over the world following. He then would die in 1991. This release is a live record from 1987 at The Roxy Theatre.
