Josh Small plays earnest soulful folk over good percussion and twangy guitars and banjo. He has a scruffy homeless-hippie feel to him, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he approached me on the street for 60 cents to buy a cup of coffee or tofu pup.

This isn’t my thing, and I hate scruffy hippies, but he’s pretty good so I’ll let him live.
