The Killigans are a Celtic/folk/punk band from Nebraska and have been a band since 2004. To me, the newest fad seems to be paddy punk music and I guess these guys seem to fit into that category. They combine a lot of different genres together but they mainly are a Celtic punk band. I’m not sure what to think of the Killigans just yet. I think the singer’s vocals tend to get irritating and the songs get a little big sloppy at times. But the more times I listen to this album, I seem to like it better. The problem with many of these bands is they don’t really stand out from other bands that play this exact same style. I listen to a lot of this stuff and the band has to be really good for me to like them. I guess in the end, I was hoping this album was better.
Bottom Line: Could have been better
Notable Tracks: For Love of country, Santy Anno, Kids on the Street
