KTP play the kind of punk rock that those of you familiar with Good Riddance, the Casualties or the Swingin’ Utters will enjoy.

Their street punk sound is gritty but well polished which usually doesn’t bode well and comes off sounding like faux-punk. That’s not really the case with KTP. The songs are your average run-of-the-mill punk rock songs. You won’t find anything spectacular here. What you will find is a solid record full of three chords and raspy vocals. You’ll find the occasional fast song here and there as well a quick guitar solo packaged neatly inside.

I think what is really missing is a certain melody or a song that just catches your attention and makes you pause what you’re doing. At times it seems like the tracks all run together. If an average punk album is what they were aiming for, then that’s what they got.

Bottom Line: Punk rock that sounds like most other punk rock
Notable Tracks: Dennis Rader, Reason, No Outlet
