More screamo that alternates between singing and screaming. Sounds like most of the resto f the stuff in the genre, although the screamer has a decent screaming voice. If this band did old school hardcore, I might even like them. I think Life In Your Way’s biggest problem is that they take themselves and the screamo sound far too seriously. There are these near hilarious talking parts in a couple of the songs, and their name makes them seem far too depressing. Ultimately, the musicianship is half-decent. Hopefully when the screamo fad dies in about 3 months, these guys might find a better niche in hardcore or metal. Or, who know, maybe swing?

Bottom Line: Generic but tight screamo.
