Los Tres Puntos has been around for 12 years, and has been playing shows across Europe steadily over that time. They hail from France but I can’t tell if they are singing in Spanish, French, Breton, German, English, Dutch, I don’t freakin’ know! I took 2 years of French in High School and only know how to say my name is Bryan. That’s pretty sad but I was too busy starring at my French teacher’s breasts all that time. I also know the word Merde! but this album isn’t that. Los Tres Puntos has been playing ska all this time and I got to give them props for sticking it out all this time. The music is really bouncy, the horn section and keyboards are very prominent as well. I can’t really compare this band to anyone, because I can’t figure out who they might sound like. Maybe a cross between Manu Chao, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs and Mad Caddies. I think the style of ska is too fast for me, and it starts to get a little messy. Even though the lyrics are mostly in French and Spanish, the songs are still fun to listen to. I just think the album could have been better.

Bottom Line: Interesting bouncy French/Spanish ska
Notable Tracks: La Chaleur De Vos Voix, Mi Deserto
