Formed in 2000 in Boston, Lost City Angels are comprised of members from some great bands in my opinion. Ronnie (Vocals) is former frontman for CT-Ska band Spring Heeled Jack, with Nick (Guitars) from one of my favorites, Pilfers, rockin and kicking ass like usual. LCA have gone through the typical band up’s and down’s with nothing but a positive outcome to show for it, with stronger hooks, lyrics and overall, a better raw punk sound. It’s tough to place Lost City Angels into one category and I think that’s what they are trying to achieve. They don’t care what they are labeled as long as it kicks ass. I took away several styles from punk, to rock, a blend of metal and some indie-rock as well. LCA will be on tour shortly so don’t hesistate to check them out.

Bottom Line: Solid release with tight songs, and energetic punk rock make this a record you want to pick up.
