Back with another great reggae record, Luciano delivers “Serious Times” in a big way. Combined with political and religious tones, Luciano stands what he believes is right. Not to mention, the songs are well crafted, and uplifting. A mix of lover’s rock, dancehall, ballads and even folk songs are some of the themes of the album. Luciano believes all the wars in the world are not doing anyone any good with people dying and only a few making gains. Check out Luciano’s version of Jose Feleciano’s “Come Down Father,” and “The World Is Troubled,” the late great Dennis Brown.
Bottom Line: If you haven’t picked up Luciano’s “Serious Times” and “A New Day,” You are seriously missing out on
Notable Tracks: “Come Down Father,” “Stay Away,” “Echoes of My Mind” The World is Troubled.”
