I’ve like the Mad Caddies ever since I saw them open at the Warped Tour in 97. I immediately became a fan and bought their first Cd after their set. Now they have a live CD out, which wasn’t recorded in a Dive. But’s live and it sounds great. Many awesome tracks are played in Toronto and the band does them well. They play one of my favorites from them, “Weird Beard.” You almost feel like dressing up like a pirate and smacking up your wench. I think the band is at it’s best when they play their dixie land punk, because no one else really does it. The Mad Caddies have come a long way since they first formed, and every album they release, they sound even better. I hope they release a full length studio album soon. And one could only hope they would film a full length concert and put that bad boy on DVD like Kung Fu Records has been doing.
Bottom Line: AAARRR aye mate!
Notable Tracks: “10 West” Weird Beard” “No Hope” “Villains” “Last Breath” “Drinking for 11”
