Matt from Alkaline Trio and legendary Kevin Seconds of 7 Seconds demonstrate what they can do by themselves. I actually liked a few of Matt Skiba’s solo stuff. The songs that were a little more upbeat were the ones I dug. I’m not sure if I like Kevin Seconds’s stuff though. When he sings by himself, and this slow, I don’t know. I’m used to him singing fast and singing “whoas!” Some of the songs actually sound like George Harrison or the Beach Boys. I guess that’s a compliment but not necessarily means I dig him doing this. I prefer the fast singing Kevin Seconds to opposed to this but that’s just me.

Bottom Line: Maybe, I have mixed feelings on this cd.
