Gahh! Eeek! Blech! This is the worst type of music. Jammy noodling over slow sludgy drumbeats, songs that have no melodic hook, faux whiteboy reggae, and ridiculous seriousness. Maybe it’s because I grew up around dozens of bands that sounded EXACTLY like this that I hate this even more. But don’t be fooled. This is not good music. It’s stylistically bland, and meant only for Phish-loving hippies that are too stoned to realize that these guys REALLY REALLY SUCK.

In fact, their song Dem Reggae is offensive to the genre itself. Seriously, I was in a ska band for a while, but we never tried to be black or speak with a patois. We also didn’t bastardize the sound. Gah, this hurts to listen to. I think I’d rather listen to 50 bad emo CDs than hear this again.

Bottom Line: Jam bands must all be deaf because otherwise there’s no way they’d understand their own suckiness.
