Man oh man I wish they release this on a full length DVD. Me First and the Gimme Gimmes find themselves playing some kid’s Bar Mitzvah and tormenting parents in the process. Maybe I’ll have the band play my wedding when hell freezes over and I actually get a girlfriend. The band covers such gems like ‘Heart of Glass” Blondie, “Strawberry Fields Forever” the Beatles, some italian song “O Sole Mio,” “The Longest Time” Billy Joel and some new Jewish songs. Their version of “Hava Nagila” is priceless. The band sounds great, and Spike is on top of his game with the stand up between songs. The added bonus of getting this Cd is you get to watch 10 minutes of the actual Bar Mitzvah rock event and see cringiness at it’s best!

Bottom Line: FUCK YEAH!
