Fat Mike, Spike, and Co. are back with another great record. Every time you think they’ll go in one direction, regarding what songs to cover next, they totally surprise you with what they put out. This time it’s R&B hits like Lionel Ritchie, Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers, R. Kelly, Boyz II Men, and Vanessa Williams. It took me a couple of listens to actually realize what songs they were covering, not being the most knowledgeable of R&B music. I wish the Gimme’s would put albums more than just 12 songs. C’mon guys get with it. 2025 songs. Let’s overdo it with covers, and one anthology cover album with new songs from every decade and many genres from those years. Back to this album though, Me First get stronger and tighter every album, which makes you wait for their next record.

Bottom Line: Awesome album, featuring songs from the best R & B Classics
