The music is crazy good midtempo punk rock. 18 tracks here, most under two minutes, but the tunes each have a really distinct tune and enjoyably sparse groove. They’re poppy and a little garagey and remind me of the early 90s sound.

The only downside is the female vocals, which are low and range-less. She often sounds like she’s reading off lyrics in a loud voice instead of singing. (I learned today that the style is called Sprechgesang, though I don’t think it’s intentional in this case.)

I’m willing to overlook the vocals, or at least get used to it like I did with Even In Blackouts. Good, fun, and interesting punk rock is a commodity these days that I simply can’t throw away.
